Church people can be difficult, never would I understand why…lol lol. You would think, if they got the love of God on the inside they would see their flaws…..but the lie detector test determined, that was a lie. I just try to be the best me in God as I can be because it’s not what they do to you but what you do to them. My mama used to always tell me that and I never understood it until I got older.
I grew up a pastors kid, and then later went on to be a pastor myself – the answer to why church folks can be so difficult has alluded me to this day lol. Like you said, the only person we have control over (truly) is ourselves so we must focus on doing well, and treating others well, and let God sort it out in the end.
